Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and DAANCE certified Dental Assistant to join our team at our oral and maxillofacial surgery practices located in Southern New England. The successful candidate will provide chair-side assistance to our oral surgeons and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities :

• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, including dental extractions, implant placements, and other oral surgeries.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for procedures according to OSHA and infection control standards.
• Take and record patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment information.
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients and ensure they understand proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
• Perform dental radiographic procedures, including digital radiographs and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans, as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
• Collaborate with the administrative team to schedule patient appointments and coordinate treatment plans.
• Uphold a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
