A leading global law firm is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level Associate—or Counsel—to join its Labor & Employment practice in Los Angeles (Century City). This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nationally recognized team that represents employers across industries in complex employment litigation and counseling matters.

About the Role

The successful candidate will handle a diverse range of employment matters, including the defense of wage and hour class and representative actions, single-plaintiff employment litigation, and administrative proceedings. The role offers significant client contact, mentorship from senior attorneys, and exposure to sophisticated, high-value cases in both state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Defend wage and hour class and PAGA actions, including discovery, witness interviews, and class certification issues.
• Handle single-plaintiff employment cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare and respond to discovery, and draft dispositive motions.
• Represent clients before administrative agencies, including the EEOC and California Civil Rights Department (CRD).
• Support clients on compliance, internal investigations, and related employment matters.
