Responsibilities
Product Engineer – Howmet Aerospace – Job responsibilities include engineering dimensional characteristics and tooling for the investment casting process and our products, potentially involving both new development and production castings. You will work in a team with a Process Engineer responsible for metallurgical aspects, with the goal of achieving the highest yield and lowest overall cost while meeting customer quality requirements. Strong communication with the manufacturing team and other engineers is required.

Job Qualifications
Education
Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or a non-engineering four-year degree with equivalent work-related experience.
Skills And Abilities
Reads, analyzes, and interprets technical procedures; effectively writes reports, business correspondence, and procedures; presents information and responds to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public. Applies mathematical operations to tasks such as data analysis, testing, and statistics. Solves practical problems and can interpret various instructions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication across all organizational levels. Self-motivated to drive improvement in the assigned portfolio of parts. Leadership ability is desirable for potential advancement within 2–4 years.
Experience
Technical manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
Work Environment
Describes typical conditions and accommodations; exposure to moving mechanical parts; noise level generally moderate.
