Senior Workday Business Analyst - 100% Remote

The Senior Workday Business Analyst (SWBA) will work with administrators across the institution to assesstheir business needs and challenges and develop business process solutions that follow industry a primary focus on the Workday platform, the SWBA works closely with the Workdayplatformownerandwithprojectmanagersandotherbusinessanalystsonstrategicinstitution-wideprojectsand operational initiatives to ensure that business needs are understood, solutions identified and / ordesigned, and business processes are designed, documented, and tested.

The SWBA translates businessrequirements into business solutions utilizing ERP, CRM and other enterprise application systemfunctionality.

Reporting to the Senior Director for Project Management and Business Analysis - Enterprise TechnologyServices, the SWBA will collaborate with business and technology teams as we seek to transform theenterprisesystemsusedbytheInstitutiontosupportmusicandperformingartseducationinanexpandingportfolioofprogramsofferedonlineandonourcampusesintheUnitedStatesandEurope.

JobPurpose :

TheSeniorBusinessAnalyst(SWBA)functionsasleadBAorkeyprojectteammemberonWorkdayprojectsand operational initiatives and will interact with various multi-functional teams and define and documentbusiness processes and requirements.

They will be very detailed, self-motivated, results oriented, and excellent communicators. This role requires analysis of sophisticated business problems to be solved withconfiguration solutions.

3.Developsandexecutesenduserverificationtestplansandtestscenarios.Facilitatesendusertestingsessions.

4.Defines,documents,andmaintainsbusinessprocessesrequirements,andpolicies.Looksforwaystoconstantlyimproveprocesses&procedures.

5.ManagesandsupportsoperationsrelatedinitiativesidentifiedbytheWorkdayplatformowner

6.Identifiesopportunitiesforbusinessprocessimprovementsandmakesrecommendationsasappropriate.

7.WorkswithWorkdayoperationsteamtounderstandandprioritizerequests

8.Supportsidentifiedactionitems,anddeliveryplans

9.Assistswiththeintakerequeststoprioritizeenhancementontheoverallroadmap

10.Performssystemtestingofnewfunctionalityorbugfixes.

11.Assistswithfeasibilityofenhancementrequests

12.Participatesintechnicaldesignsessions,ensuringthatthebusinessrequirementsandobjectivesarearticulatedandaddressedbythedesignedsolutions.

13.CollaborateswithTraining&Supportteamtocreatedocumentationandtrainingforendusersonneworchangedbusinessprocesses

14.Diagnosesproblemsrelatedtodailytransactionalprocessesoroperationalprocesses;determinespossibleresolutionsandimplementseffectivesolutionsinatimelyfashion

15.Adherestoandpromotes’sVisionandGuidingPrinciples

16.Contributestotherefinementofinternalbestpracticestoensurethedeliveryofhigh-qualityservicesthatmeettheneedsofthe community

RequiredExperience :

1.Bachelor’sdegreeandrelevantbusinessprocessanalysisand / orbusinessanalysttrainingandexperiencerequired.

2.Advanceddegreeand / orCBAP(CertifiedBusinessAnalysisProfessional)certificationpreferred

experienceinabusinessanalystrole orperformingbusinessanalysisfunctions.

Workdayimplementationexperiencestronglypreferred(WorkdayStudentaplus)

5.Experience with other administrative business applications ( ERP, CRM : Colleague, PowerCampus,Salesforce,etc)and / orthird-partyadministrativesystemssupportingthestudentexperiencepreferred.

6.Workexperienceinahighereducationenvironmentstronglypreferred

7.Background in or exposure to higher education student administrative operations desirable (,admissions / recruiting,academicprogram / curriculumadministration,academicadvising,studentaccounts,financialaid,etc)

8.Knowledgeandapplieduseofarangeofelicitationtechniquestoelicitbusinessandsystemrequirements

9.Knowledge and applied use of a range of workflow / documentation techniques ( Swim lanediagrams),andtheflexibilitytoapplythebestmethodtotheneedsofeachassignment / project

10.Knowledgeofandexperiencewithbothwaterfallandagilemethodologies
