Controller Job Summary
The Controller is responsible for overseeing the daily financial operations of the construction firm and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, compliance with accounting standards, and effective internal controls. This role involves managing accounting functions, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support the companys strategic goals and financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA designation preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting / finance roles with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
Strong knowledge of construction industry accounting practices
Proficient in Foundation and QuickBooks accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and professionalism with a commitment to ethical financial management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
