Credentials Representative Intern INDYCAR, 2026 Season
The Credentials Intern supports the planning and distribution of credentials for the INDYCAR season and events at IMS, including the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, Brickyard Weekend, and other related events. Reporting to the Sr. Coordinator, Guest Relations, this role assists with credential processing, customer service, and on-site event support.
In this role, you'll be an important part of delivering top-tier experiences to fans, partners, and teams across the motorsports world. You'll take ownership of key responsibilities, collaborate across departments, and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities include :
- Develop and maintain outstanding working relationships
- Deliver a positive first impression for guests at INDYCAR events
- Assist with the printing, fulfillment, and delivery of INDYCAR Annual Credentials
- Perform necessary organizational functions
- Organize and distribute event tickets and parking passes
- Assist with the organization and preparation for INDYCAR events
- Organize and manage INDYCAR credentials email inbox
- Educate customers about the different benefits and levels of access provided by various credentials
- Become proficient in the IMS point of sale software and INDYCAR Credentialing Platforms
- Assist IMS Credentials Team during second half of internship with credential functions for IMS events
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Tourism & Convention Management, Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, Public Relations preferred.Leadership :
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilitiesFlexibility & Travel :
Begins between November and December 2025 and concludes in early August (must be available for majority of INDYCAR & IMS events during this time)Requires a minimum of 12 hours per week during November and / or December and ramps up to 25-30 hours per week beginning in JanuaryWorks a minimum of 40 hours per week including weekends during May and Brickyard Weekend (late July)Opportunities to travel to 2-3 INDYCAR races during the season including the Season opener in St. Peterburg, FLPhysical Demands :
