Ticket Sales Representative Intern, 2026 Season

As a Ticket Sales Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Indianapolis Motor Speedway by assisting with the sale of individual tickets for the INDYCAR Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, Brickyard Weekend, and other ticket-related events. In this role, you'll be an important part of delivering top-tier experiences to fans, partners, and teams across the motorsports world. You'll take ownership of key responsibilities, collaborate across departments, and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include making up to 400 calls a week, generating revenue and driving attendance for IMS events, exhibiting clear understanding and communication of IMS facility, events, products, and processes, and accurately operating IMS computer ticket system (SCORE) to process daily ticket orders and payments.

We're looking for someone who's ready to bring great effort every day and is committed to growing with us. Required experience and skills include teamwork, integrity, a great attitude, and tremendous work ethic, along with strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word. Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. General office hours are MondayFriday, 9 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with extended hours required during race weekends and key event periods. The physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking, and the ability to work long hours and an irregular schedule.

Work environment includes fast-paced, collaborative office and event settings, with frequent interruptions and regular interaction with others.
