Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking qualified candidates for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Seattle metro area. We work with top small and large employers in the Seattle metro area.

Summary :
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Preparing bank deposits
- Sending out invoices
- Contacts customers to resolve late and / or non-payment of invoices
- Preparation & sending out of monthly statements
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Assist in General Office Duties as required, including answering the telephone
- Preparing journal entries and maintaining spreadsheets
- Other financial duties assigned by supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Successful candidate will have the willingness and desire to provide outstanding customer service
- Accounts Receivable experience (at least 2 years)
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Cash posting A / R Process with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Possess excellent phone skills Excellent verbal, written, email etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and be organized in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Must be proactive and work well both independently and with a team
- Dependability is a MUST
- Computer proficiency, including 10-key skills and excellent typing skills (minimum 45 wpm)
- Aptitude to learn specialized accounting software
- Proficient use of Excel and Outlook
Pay : $26-$28 per hour (DOE)
