Part-time Substance Use Outpatient Counselor

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Part -time Counselor to work with the Outpatient / SAIOP program at our Gastonia location.

This is an exempt part-time position due to being grant-funded. Estimated to serve 20-25 hours / week.

How will you help us achieve our mission? You will :

• Be at the forefront of crafting person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.
• Play a pivotal role in monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support both patients and their families.
• Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support. Your impact will extend beyond our doors!
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster your professional growth and development.

What are the qualifications needed for this role? :

We're looking for a minimum CADC certification, and up to Master's degree-level fully licensed or associate licensed Family Counselors (LCAS, LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC).
