Senior Project Manager

Are you a seasoned Senior Project Manager ready to take on the most challenging and impactful software delivery projects?

Heywood is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to spearhead the planning, execution, and successful completion of large, complex software implementation projects . You will be the linchpin ensuring our solutions are delivered to the highest standards—on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality and scope.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be the driving force, working with multi- disciplinary teams and serving as the primary liaison for both internal and external clients and stakeholders . You will be responsible for ensuring all projects strictly follow Heywood’s robust project management framework and commercial terms.

Key responsibilities

Your leadership will define the success of our projects across the full lifecycle :

• Project leadership and planning : Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, set clear schedules, and establish success criteria to drive project objectives.
• Stakeholder and communication management : Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned, providing regular progress updates, and fostering a true collaborative partnership.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with Heywood Professional Services teams to ensure all resources are aligned on project status and that clear, well- defined deliverables are established for each team
• Risk and issue management : Proactively identify, quantify, and develop robust mitigation strategies for project risks and issues to safeguard successful delivery.
• Budget and financial control : Manage project finances, control budgets, ensure all cost constraints are met, and oversee accurate time-booking and invoicing.
• Quality and governance assurance : Implement strong project governance and quality control measures, ensure strict adherence to best practices, and facilitate smooth, thorough project handovers to the support team.
• Continuous improvement : Complete post-project reviews and capture lessons learned to drive organizational maturity and process enhancements.
• Business development support : Assist with proposals, bids, and estimations, leveraging your expertise to support new commercial opportunities.
