- Manages food and product development projects in cooperation with marketing, operations, quality assurance, and purchasing.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to field test products and operational complexity of new food items.
- Participates in chain-wide implementation of products and programs, participating in all feedback calls with field operations.
- Conducts ongoing product improvement with test products and current menu items.
- Supports and manages culinary innovation strategy by setting prioritization and resource allocation.
- Leads the development and communication of menu initiatives according to the Culinary Innovation strategy.
- Able to travel for extensive product testing, including CLT's and in-restaurant testing.
- Oversees and manages Test Kitchen sanitation, inventory, and maintenance as needed.
- Aligns all innovation projects with profitable metrics as a pillar to the Brand strategies and initiatives.
- Works with Culinary Operations to vet operational feasibility of new products and early commercialization.
- Utilizes Crunchtime for all innovation projects for new product and recipe development with accurate food cost and yielding.
- Oversees category management as assigned, attends triad meetings, and leads culinary point of view for inventory initiatives.
- Ensures collaboration with Culinary operations and commercialization departments early in the development process.
Responsibilities :
