Job description

Facility Name : Lake Regional Health System

Location : Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri

Facility Type : Regional Referral Center, 116-bed hospital

Emergency Department :

  • 35 ED beds
  • 36,000 annual ED visits
  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Isolation beds, 4 trauma bays, 2 GYN rooms, 1 pediatric room
  • 22% pediatric, 5% OB / GYN, 9% trauma, 12% geriatric
  • Fast Track supported by APPs
  • EMR : Meditech & Dragon

Job Requirements :

  • Physicians : BE / BC in EM, FP, or IM (must be BC within 5 years); FP / IM must have 3+ years of ED experience
  • NPs / PAs : Must have EM experience, certified, and hold ACLS, PALS, ATLS
  • All Providers : ACLS & ATLS required

    • Coverage Type : EM - Acute Care, Double Coverage

    Staffing Model :

  • Physician Coverage :

    • Fri-Mon : 48 hours / day

  • Tues-Thurs : 36 hours / day
  • APP Coverage :

    • Fri-Mon : 36 hours / day

  • Tues-Thurs : 24 hours / day

    • Shift Length : 12-hour shifts

    Special Services :

  • 64-slice CT scanner
  • ICU / CCU : 18 beds
  • Stepdown Unit : 22 beds
  • Level II Nursery
  • Level II Stroke Center

    • Moonlighting :

  • Emergency Medicine residents accepted

    • Credentialing Requirements :

  • BE / BC
  • ACLS, ATLS, (PALS for APPs)
  • Must be certified within 5 years if BE

    • Community :
