Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage high-volume invoice processing and ensure accurate financial operations for multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities :

Process 200 to 300 invoices weekly, ensuring timely and accurate coding and entry.

Conduct weekly check runs, issuing between 100 to 200 checks for multiple entities.

Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry and reconciliation.

Maintain precise records of transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Handle ACH payments and other electronic payment methods efficiently.

Collaborate with team members to address and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

Provide support for month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Ensure all vendor accounts remain up-to-date through regular communication and follow-ups.

Demonstrate strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Requirements :

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable roles.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory.

Strong understanding of invoice coding, account coding, and reconciliation processes.

Experience with high-volume invoice processing and weekly check runs.

Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment systems.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new challenges.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
