Diesel Mechanic

Automation Personnel, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our customer’s growing team in Dayton, TX ! If you're passionate about keeping trucks ready and take pride in your mechanical expertise, we want to hear from you!

Pay Rate

$22.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilitie s

• Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on diesel trucks and trailers, including inspections, oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on diesel-powered vehicles
• Troubleshoot and repair air brake and suspension systems, PTOs, pumps, and drive-line components
• Install, service, and maintain fuel and cargo systems, including valves and piping (MC331 knowledge is a plus)
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet DOT and company safety standards
