Job Description
A Cameron Park based client is seeking an excellent Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide care to children in a community health center. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative NP who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to pediatrics.
Required Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program in Family Practice or PediatricsCurrent California state NP licenseCurrent DEA certificateCurrent CPR certificationResponsibilities
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Maintaining the patient record in a timely fashionProvide narrative summaries in EMR to communicate patient information to other health care providersOrder, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' conditionCollect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination resultsMonitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessaryExplain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patientsAdvise patients concerning diet, activity, and disease preventionRefer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessaryBenefits
