Job Description
As Sales Applications Engineer you will support the sales department and engage with customers / manufacturers directly. The purpose of your role is to help customers identify the right hydraulic kits or guards, prepare accurate quotes, and support our sales team with in-depth product knowledge.
Job description :
- Serve as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and engineering to recommend the best-fit hydraulic kits, guards or custom solutions.
- Support the sales team with product knowledge, application guidance, product demonstrations and technical documentation.
- Demonstrate superior product knowledge to understand machine specifications and customer requirements to prepare accurate quotes.
- Work closely with customers to understand their challenges, provide technical guidance, and build long-term relationships.
- Understand the workings of excavators, attachments, auxiliary kits and their applications.
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Build relationships with attachment manufacturers and machine manufacturers to stay informed of new developments and gather specifications.
- Coordinate training materials for sales staff
- Communicate with engineering, the installation team, and the new machine measurement team to stay current on industry technology
- Stay informed of trends in the hydraulic and construction industry
- Travel through USA and Canada for client meetings, presentations to potential customers and trade shows as needed
- Research and update database with attachment and machine specs.
- Identify new application opportunities based on field feedback, market trends, or customer input.
Software :
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point.Experience with CRM software a plusDesired qualities
