JOB SUMMARY
Provide leadership, supervision, and training of operations personnel in his / her location to assure quality performance and high levels of customer satisfaction including customer service representative and assembly functions for connector products in a retail environment. Dedication to and support of the Cross Cultural Cornerstones. Responsible for all aspects of the operation including customer service, inventory control, facility management, and personnel issues. Understands and embraces the Servant Leadership style of management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervision of associates including direction, motivation, training, hiring, and coaching in a respectful manner.
Balance the workload of associates daily.
Dedication to, and support of, and adherence to the Cross Company Cultural Cornerstones.
Performance management utilizing best practices and related organizational tools in selecting, setting expectations, providing feedback, providing corrective action, and developing associates.
Inventory management to assure profitable use of our cash assets.
Foster and maintain positive company-oriented behavior in relationships with customers, supervisors, TMs, and all co-workers.
Daily process of shipping tickets, balancing the cash drawer, creating bank deposits, monitoring change in the cash drawer, and maintaining accurate petty cash records.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service / Inside Sales / Hose Assembly
Process customer orders to meet company performance matrix guidelines.
Specify and fabricate hose assemblies.
Coordinate, ensure maximum efficiency within the work order process from inventory receipt to customer delivery.
Expedite open orders and provide delivery information for customers.
Respond to inquiries about technical services and product training, product availability, pricing, credit terms, FOB terms, delivery, product selection, & related information.
Take inbound calls and requests from customers.
Issue quotes using NetSuite.
Understand SWM processes and process Item Fullments through the warehouse.
Understand the needs of customers and be able to match products and services to satisfy them profitably.
Able to meet technical expertise levels as follows :
Recognize major features, advantages, & benefits of our products
Pass Hose Certification requirements & complete Parker Learning Institute
Manage rebates and price discounting records for the location.
Facility Management
Maintain office equipment, assembly and fabrication equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Understand and abide by OSHA regulations.
Maintain current records on the hose equipment maintenance log.
Assure a safe, clean work environment for customers and associates.
Responsible for implementing the emergency action plan.
Other
Complete all assigned individual performance and development goals
Communicate all significant issues in a respectful and supportive manner.
Travel to customer and HFG locations as needed.
Perform various, miscellaneous tasks and projects.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
2-3 years Hose Industry experience.
Completed basic supervisory and operations management training.
High School diploma or GED required.
Some college or technical school preferred.

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

Ability to drive to customer locations and other Cross locations as needed
Ability to physically navigate the store and warehouse locations
Ability to physically navigate industrial facilities
