About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Cloud Security to take ownership of and execute the cloud security vision in alignment with risk posture, regulatory expectations, and enterprise transformation goals. The successful candidate will be the accountable executive for the security of multi-cloud workloads, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, and serverless. This role involves overseeing the selection, implementation, and lifecycle management of cloud security platforms and tools, as well as embedding security by design across workload architecture and identity models. The Head of Cloud Security will also be responsible for governing secure configuration baselines, leading decisions on identity federation, and driving continuous monitoring of security risks across cloud platforms. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of security leadership experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Azure cloud security. The role requires a proven track record in building and scaling enterprise cloud security programs, deep expertise in Azure security services, and a strong background in Zero Trust, identity governance, DevSecOps, and cloud-native detection and response. Experience with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS, particularly in a financial or highly regulated industry, is essential. The Head of Cloud Security will also be expected to lead and mentor a team of cloud security engineers, partner with various stakeholders to ensure integrated lifecycle protection, and educate business leaders on cloud risks to support informed decision-making.
