DRG Manager with CCS Certification

A company is looking for a DRG CVA Manager for the Audit Team, responsible for overseeing a team of inpatient DRG audit staff.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a team of professional inpatient DRG audit staff

Review staff performance and provide feedback

Lead operational changes and develop business strategies

Required Qualifications

CCS or CIC Certifications, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

3+ years of acute care inpatient coding / DRG validation experience

Knowledge of encoder / grouper applications (3M, Webstrat)

Understanding of health insurance and waste & error principles

Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
