• Orthopedic and trauma experience required.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Description :

This position is for a registered nurse in the Med / Surg / Telemetry specialty.

The nurse will be responsible for pre-operative and post-operative care for orthopedic patients.

Candidates must have experience with elective and trauma patients, including total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and repairs.

The role involves using safe patient handling equipment, orthopedic equipment, and contribute to the overall patient care process.

The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1 : 6, with the potential to stretch to 1 : 7.

Flexibility with scheduling is required, and all candidates must adhere to a strict attendance policy.

COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required unless medical or religious exemptions apply.

Candidates will utilize rapid response teams as needed and participate in patient care across various age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

All travelers may be required to float to different campus locations as necessary.

Compliance with all qualifications and certifications is essential for this position.
