Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our HIM Clerk you will manage patient health information and medical records ensuring accuracy compliance and integrity for patient care.

Every day you will retrieve file and organize patient records (physical / electronic) ensuring completeness and confidentiality. Youll process information requests verify identities assist providers with access and conduct quality checks on scanned documents. Responsibilities include updating demographics handling correspondence and responding to inquiries per privacy regulations.

To be successful you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail strong organizational skills and proficiency in HIM systems / office software. Excellent communication and customer service coupled with a deep understanding of HIPAA and HIM principles are essential.
