We are seeking a Product Engineer, New Product Development to join the growing team in Dayton, Ohio !

Position Summary

The Product Engineer will play a key role in new product development effortsdesigning, developing, and launching groundbreaking products that set new standards in the medical and healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, a proven track record of speed and accuracy to market, and a passion for driving innovation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the full new product development lifecycle, from concept through market launch.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful product outcomes.
• Conduct market and competitive research to identify customer needs and opportunities.
• Contribute to project planning by monitoring timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
• Design, prototype, and test innovative medical devices using CAD software, rapid prototyping, and lab tools.
• Build, assemble, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical fluidic prototypes, including pumps, motors, sensors, and solenoids.
• Perform product testing and validation to verify performance, quality, and durability.
• Design and build test fixtures to support verification activities.
• Prepare engineering drawings, documentation, and prototypes for regulatory and internal review.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reduce cost, and streamline development.
• Stay current with relevant technologies, tools, and materials to apply innovative solutions.
• Communicate project progress, technical findings, and issues to the engineering team and management.
