Job Title : Sterile Processing Tech

Hours per Shift : 8
Experience : Two (2) years current experience required in a large operating room.
License : High School Diploma or GED
Certifications : HSPA (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD required. BLS certification may not be required. BLS must be completed through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Must-Have :
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Description :
Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.
Perform duties of decontamination, assembly, high-level disinfection, and / or sterilization of surgical instruments for the operating room and other hospital departments and clinics in accordance with established policies and standard work.
Prioritize tasks as directed by the supervisor or as needed to support patient care for the operating room and customer departments.
Document, monitor, and maintain accurate records demonstrating high-level disinfection and sterilization in accordance with current professional and regulatory agencies.
Perform other functions as required.
Ortho, EENT, and / or vascular experience is a plus.
