THE WORK
Assembles or integrates parts to create subassemblies using oral or written instruction. Performs operations including wire wrap, soldering, inserting components on circuit boards, positioning and fastening parts by crimping, soldering, epoxying, bolting, or hand staking, tinning, riveting, bonding and welding.
Other duties include bead blast, cleaning and forming parts, labeling, stenciling, marking, key pinning, masking / unmasking, wrapping and unwrapping parts, wire prep including forming and lacing, wire stripping and / or dressing and wire continuity tests.
Supports microcircuits in assembly. Operates machinery such as robots, auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, cleaners such as EMC or Detrex, ovens, furnaces, and computer driven label and marker printers.
Please Note : This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Desired skills
Experience performing operations using hand tools including wire wrap, soldering, inserting components on circuit boards or assembly, positioning and fastening small parts by crimping, soldering, epoxying, bolting, or hand staking, tinning, riveting, bonding and welding.
Experience with auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, cleaners such as EMC or Detrex, ovens, furnaces, and computer driven label and marker printers.
