Estimator - HVAC
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for various construction and mechanical projects.
They will determine the labor and materials needed in order to accurately estimate costs. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC and construction, as well as strong estimating and mechanical skills.
Position Overview : The Estimator will assess job specifications and related documents to determine the cost of the project.
They will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and ensure that all work is completed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collect and analyze project data, such as building plans, drawings, and materials
- Assess project costs and create detailed cost estimates
- Prepare bids and proposals to submit to potential clients
- Provide technical advice and support to team members and clients
- Monitor project progress and analyze cost trends
- Manage and update project documentation
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time and on budget
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in construction and / or estimating
- Knowledge of HVAC and construction processes
- Strong estimating skills
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
