PTA Provides direct care to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. LSMC PT is an Outpatient rehabilitation facility that has a focus on Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1) Provides patient care and treatment as directed in PT Evaluation.
2) Must be comfortable treating various patient populations and working in a fast paced and team oriented environment.
3) Must continuously improve PT knowledge and skills.
4) Must perform adequate wound care treatment under physical therapist plan of care

LSMC is Laredo's premier Sports Medicine/ Orthopedics/ Physical Therapy facility offering Laredo's only board certified sports medicine physicians, an Orthopedic Surgeon, a full service x-ray department, a comprehensive line of durable medical equipment, a fully integrated electronic medical records system, physical therapy department . Patients range from 2 to 70 years of age including professional and college athletes, injured workers, high school students, weekend warriors and many others.
