As a Security Officer in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location. Position Type : Full Time Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance Pay Rate : $25.75 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Mon02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Tue02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Wed02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Thur02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Fri02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM What You'll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats within an aerospace and defense environment. Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions as needed. What We're Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
