Radiology - Diagnostic
Position Summary
Performs and has knowledge of advance modalities and has at least 2 years of experience. Performs a variety of technical procedures to ensure that a good independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis is being utilized. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, personnel and procedures, as required. Reports directly to the Asst. Director of Imaging. Is accountable for the delivery of efficient, high quality services to the patient, physician and all customers while providing high quality exams within the protocols and guidelines set by the Department of Imaging Services. Rad. Tech II shall be responsible for maintaining and stocking of supplies, rooms and equipment or other assigned duties. He / She has the responsibility of protection and safety to themselves, the patients and co-workers. He / She is expected to maintain high standards of technical competence and participate in any specific training that may be needed. The Rad. Tech II Technologist participates in on-call coverage for the modality as part of the essentials of the job requirement.
