About the Role

We are looking for a Dispatcher to join our operations team. Dispatchers play a critical role in keeping everything moving—coordinating loads with customers, warehouses, plants, and drivers to ensure on-time deliveries. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at problem-solving in a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate with Customer Service Representatives to meet customer needs.

Relay detailed load information to drivers (order numbers, equipment requirements, pickup / delivery details, and scheduling).

Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Serve as a 24 / 7 point of contact for drivers with problems while on the road.

Participate in weekly dispatch meetings and daily planning.

Post trucks on “DAT” and secure back hauls by reviewing daily reports.

Communicate with customers to resolve delivery / pickup issues.

Enter live driver pay legs and accessorials into the system and secure customer approvals.

Assist with driver settlement, billing issues, and trailer / equipment coordination.

Notify management of any demurrage or per diem charges.

Build and maintain positive relationships with both drivers and customers.

Provide backup support to Customer Service Representatives as needed.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of dispatching experience (transportation / logistics preferred).

Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish bilingual a plus).

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and dispatching software (VI Software experience preferred).

High school diploma or equivalent.

Willingness to learn new processes and continuously improve skills.
