Specialist - Foundation Admin / Accounts Specialist

Position summary :

• Institutional Advancement (IA) operates to support student success, build and maintain donor engagement at any level, and efficiently deploy its resources to raise dollars.
• IA personnel maintain the highest level of transparency and are always available to donors, friends, students, faculty, and staff of Kilgore College.
• In addition to adhering to the Mission of IA, the Scholarship Liaison is also responsible for creating frictionless interactions for donors and creating a life-long relationship with all graduates, students, and friends of the College.
• The Institutional Advancement Office includes the Executive Director of the Foundation and Community Relations, the Foundation Admin / Account Specialist, Scholarship Liaison, Grant Writer, and the Alumni Liaison.
• This position enhances the effectiveness of the Institutional Advancement Office by performing responsible and specialized clerical assistance, accounting, and administrative support under limited supervision.

Minimum Position Requirements :

Applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; be detailed-oriented with excellent time-management skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications and QuickBooks and be able to interpret and apply administrative policies and procedures; be able to work well with little supervision; and relate well to a diverse student and faculty population.
