Job description

We're recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a Process Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join their team in Cincinnati, Ohio . This is a full-time, onsite position within a PSM-covered facility, ideal for a candidate experienced in ammonia refrigeration OSHA 1910.119 , and cross-functional safety leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain all elements of the facility's PSM and EPA RMP programs
  • Lead or assist with PHA, MOC, PSSR, incident investigations, and safety audits
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to manage and mitigate process safety risks
  • Ensure all documentation and records (SOPs, P&IDs, training logs) are complete and up to date
  • Deliver or coordinate safety training on PSM-related topics and regulatory standards
  • Provide technical support for systems involving anhydrous ammonia (NH3) or similar regulated substances
  • Track safety metrics and contribute to the site's continuous improvement culture

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a PSM-covered facility (required)
  • Working knowledge of OSHA 1910.119, EPA RMP, and ammonia system safety
  • Familiarity with MOC, PHA, PSSR, and mechanical integrity practices
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and cross-functional coordination
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, RETA CIRO / CARO, or related credentials are a plus

    • Compensation & Details

  • Salary : $70,000 – $90,000, based on experience
  • Full benefits package
