Parks and Trails Department Manager

Position Summary

CEI Engineering is seeking a Parks and Trails Department Manager at our corporate office in Bentonville, AR, to effectively lead and manage a team responsible for designing and constructing parks, trails, and landscape projects in and around the Northwest Arkansas area. The ideal candidate should enjoy cultivating and expanding business development opportunities and be a dynamic leader who can inspire team members to provide outstanding services and project outcomes to our clients. Experience working with federal, state, and local government agencies and community associations, as well as knowledge of grant opportunities and additional funding sources for client projects, is a plus. Leadership responsibilities require promoting and actively supporting CEI's Guiding Principles and Vision Statement when completing job duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive relationship with the department's existing clients and actively pursues positive relationships with potential clients. Resolves client complaints in a manner that results in a fair and favorable resolution for both parties, maintaining a continued business relationship with CEI.
• Develops, prepares, and oversees multi-project budgets. Monitors departmental budget to ensure identified business goals and objectives are accomplished. More specifically, it is responsible for actively managing the following :

Execution of business procedures per CEI policies, procedures, and Guiding Principles.

Key Requirements

Broad knowledge of accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year (4) college degree, plus seven (7) years related experience and / or training, six(6) years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
