Job Title : Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist

Location : Blue Bell, PA

Department : Human Resources / Risk & Compliance

Reports To : VP of Human Resources

Position Summary :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist to lead and manage all aspects of workers’ compensation for clinical and non-clinical staff in diverse healthcare settings. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of multi-state workers’ comp laws, experience in healthcare staffing, and excels at cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage workers’ compensation claims from initial report through resolution, ensuring timely filing and compliance with state-specific regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for injured employees, insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and legal counsel.
• Direct injured employees care with the insurance carrier.
• Coordinate with staffing operations, credentialing, and HR teams to gather incident details and ensure accurate documentation.
• Investigate claims, assess compensability, and recommend appropriate action plans.
• Develop and manage return-to-work programs tailored to healthcare staffing scenarios, including modified duty options across client sites.
• Monitor claims trends and collaborate with Safety and Compliance teams to implement preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports for leadership on claims status, costs, and risk exposure.
• Provide training and support to internal teams and field staff on injury reporting protocols and workers’ compensation policies.
