Electrical Engineer
Russell Tobin has partnered with a globally recognized specialty HVAC manufacturer in the Oklahoma City area to add to their growing team! This is a contract-to-hire position with a salary range of $80k-$100k / year, and has excellent opportunity for growth.
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll spearhead the management and execution of the company's electrical and electronic design initiatives.
Position Responsibilities :
- Assess existing systems at the unit level and determine the adequacy of electrical designs and components.
- Formulate and document system-level electrical requirements based on unit specifications and relevant electrical and safety codes (including UL / ETL, CE, and local regulations) to ensure equipment safety and reliability.
- Ensure compliance of electrical designs and applications with applicable codes.
- Create and document electrical designs tailored to equipment applications.
- Conduct peer reviews of fellow electrical engineers' work and provide guidance on alternative designs to enhance safety, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and quality.
Position Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial or commercial product development or similar fields.
- Experience with EPlan is advantageous.
- Familiarity with various internal and external compliance standards such as UL / ETL, CE, and other relevant regulations.
- Preferred experience in HVAC / R.
- Strong leadership skills, effective communication of technical concepts, ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and proactive approach to tasks.
