About the Role

The Company is excited to welcome a new Chief Medical Officer to lead its Clinical Assessment Review Expert (CAREs) team. This within the organization is central to achieving our national clinical program goals focused on clinical quality, growth, and financial success. We seek a dynamic and innovative leader with a robust background in clinical and operational management, especially in Utilization Management. In this critical role, you will oversee a team dedicated to monitoring clinical and operational outcomes, fostering strategic collaborations with various partners, and staying ahead of emerging clinical trends. The role also requires the evaluation of clinical data to pinpoint opportunities for improvement, craft messaging for stakeholders, and identify potential growth avenues.

To be considered, candidates should possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) degree with an unrestricted medical license, along with a minimum of 10 years of clinical practice experience and at least 5 years of advancing national leadership in Utilization Management. It's essential to have a strong business foundation, expertise in Utilization Management principles, and a proven record of accomplishments in healthcare delivery systems. The successful candidate will be adept in evidence-based clinical decision-making, possess a strong operational focus, and excel in collaborative work within complex organizational structures. We are looking for a strategic thinker with substantial business insight, capable of aligning clinical strategies with overarching business objectives, who holds a deep commitment to evidence-based medicine.
