What is the opportunity?
Capital Markets Quantitative & Technology Services - Data AI and Research Technology (DART) team is looking to hire a Data & AI Solution Architect to lead the design of secure, scalable and cost‑effective data & AI solutions for building Data Products, Signals and AI Agents for Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Investment Research.
What will you do?
- Work directly with the product teams to capture detailed requirements and develop end‑to‑end solution architecture specifications covering functional and non‑functional aspects.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data & AI governance teams to ensure full alignment with enterprise data strategy, AI governance frameworks, security policies, compliance and architecture standards.
- Partner with engineering teams to validate that the delivered solution follows the prescribed architecture specification.
- Present architecture artifacts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
5+ years' industry experience, including 2 years as a Solutions Architect focused on large‑scale Data and AI projects and 3 years as a Software Engineer.Proven experience in architecting hybrid cloud solutions that leverage both on‑premises and cloud services for compute and storage, aligned with performance, compliance and scalability goals.Solid experience collaborating with Engineering teams, Product and Program Management, Data and AI governance groups.Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Identity and Access Management solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Nice to Have
Experience with Agentic Architectures.Hands‑on experience in Data Engineering and applied Machine Learning.Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.Experience with Azure Databricks, Kubernetes.What's in it for you?

The Expected Salary Range for this position is $135,000 – $225,000 depending on experience, skills, registration status, market conditions and business needs. This range does not include other elements of total compensation such as discretionary bonuses, 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, or paid time‑off.
