About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist

Profession : IR Technologist

Hours per Shift : 9 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Active state license required

Certifications : BLS, ARRT

Must-Have :

• Experience with vascular, neuro, drains, and lines.
• Proficiency in scrubbing, passing supplies, and setting up and taking down procedure rooms.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and equipment, specifically EPIC and Philips monitors.

Description :

The facility operates a total of 6 labs for pre-operative and phase 2 recovery.

On average, there are 20-30 cases performed daily.

There is a charge nurse present on each shift, who does not take patients but manages cases and covers lunches.

The position requires flexibility for weeknight and weekend call, with a response time of 30 minutes.

There are no floating requirements; the role is specific to either the cath lab or interventional radiology.

The dress code is provided.

Unit and department-specific orientation will be conducted over a period of 3-5 days.
