Assembler I - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Assembler to join our team and play a key role in assembling our level and flow control products. In this position, you will follow job specifications, identify nonconforming conditions, and collaborate with the Team Lead and / or Supervisor to address any issues. You will also contribute to identifying and reducing waste in the workflow to improve overall efficiency.

The Assembler I will :

• Follow standard work procedures with guidance on complex tasks.
• Operate and inspect Value Stream workstation output.
• Utilize and maintain tools and equipment necessary for completing standard work.
• Test and calibrate basic assemblies according to specifications.
• Consistently meet quality standards with minimal discrepancies, showing continuous improvement.
• Perform standard work efficiently on straightforward tasks and collaborate on complex ones.
• Identify any issues in executing standard work and seek assistance for resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range and Benefits :

The hourly pay range for this position generally ranges between $17.00 - $19.00 Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, AMETEK provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee assistance program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
