Assembly Technician
We are hiring for an Assembly Technician who will be responsible for performing a combination of tasks to assemble and package medical devices according to specifications provided.
Production conducted under ISO-13485 Quality Management System in FDA regulated facility
Essential Duties :
Attention to Detail and Personal Responsibility for Work Conducted Essential
Reviews work order for product or component to be assembled.
Sets up work area for assembly of product or component according to procedure.
Fits and assembles parts together using adhesives, hand tools. Also heats, bonds and welds part together using automatic equipment.
Visually inspects product for defects, verifies conformance to test specifications if indicated and rejects defective product or component.
Packages final product including specified labels and instructional information.
Completes all necessary documentation regarding work orders.
Clears work area of all remaining components according to procedure
Other Duties :
- Any Other assignments as directed by immediate supervisor or their designee
- Responsible for keeping work area neat and orderly.
- Participate in all employee training meetings.
- Participate in maintaining personal training records.
Preferred Education / Experience :
- High school diploma or GED (Required).
- Must be able to speak, read and write English (Required).
- Manual dexterity to conduct hand assemblies (Required).
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.) (Preferred).
- Electronics skills (Preferred).
- Additional on the job training provided.
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to sit, stand and / or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
