OCHSNER HEALTH BATON ROUGE - DEPARTMENT OF NEUROSURGERY

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge currently has a FULL-TIME opportunity for a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible NEUROSURGEON to join its busy practice.

Practice offers a broad range of spine procedures and standard cranial procedures. Ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative work environment in a community practice setting.

Call rotation shared amongst physicians within the group (clinic and hospital consult). We invite highly qualified candidates who are committed to excellence in patient care and are eager to build upon a growing Neurosciences program within the Baton Rouge region.

Priority will be given to applicants with expertise in complex spine diseases preferably in minimally invasive treatment approaches.

The Department of Neurosurgery is a member of the Ochsner Neuroscience Institute located in New Orleans, consistently ranked as one of the top 50 Neuroscience Centers by the U.

S. News and World Report. Our department includes 19 full-time neurosurgeons (adult and pediatric), 9 Neuro-intensivists, 1 Neuroradiologist, and 43 Neurologists that are spread over our Ochsner locations throughout Louisiana.
