Job description

Title : Residential Counselor - MAP

Pay Range : $20 - $23.75

FLSA : Non Exempt

Schedule : Thurs / Fri : 2 : 30p-9p; Sun : 9 : 30a-8 : 30p and Sat : 3p-11p (40 hrs)

    • What Youll Do :

    Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE) fostering skills for daily living and community integration. Key responsibilities include :

  • TeachADLs(cooking budgeting medication management) and socialization skills.
  • ImplementTreatment Plansand behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
  • Administer / supervise medications perMAP guidelinesand document care.
  • Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
  • Advocate for residents needs and model healthy coping strategies.
  • Maintain a safe clean home environment and complete timely documentation.

    • What You Bring :

  • High school diploma / GED; mental health experience preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to assist with mobility (bending standing etc.).
  • Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
  • Compassion patience and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
  • Bonus : Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g. Spanish Portuguese).
