Location : Alexandria, VA (Primary Residence)
Schedule : Full-time, Live-Out; Monday-Friday, with flexibility for occasional weekend or after-hours needs - Hours TBD for the right candidate
Travel : Occasional travel to the family's second home in MD (expenses covered)
Compensation : $100,000+ DOE, negotiable for the right candidate | Benefits : Offered - TBD

About the Family :
A kind and thoughtful couple in Washington, DC, is seeking an exceptional Executive Family Assistant / Household Manager to support their personal, household, and lifestyle operations. The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, and highly discreet , and will provide executive-level administrative support while also overseeing personal life logistics and household operations.
This role will work especially closely with the gentleman principal, ensuring schedules, commitments, and logistics stay on track. You will manage calendars, coordinate travel, liaise with providers, and ensure day-to-day life runs seamlessly.
The family has a large, friendly, energetic dog , so candidates must be comfortable around dogs.

Responsibilities (Including but not limited to) :
Executive & Personal Support
Manage calendars, appointments, and travel, including frequent flyer and points trackingConduct research, follow up on ideas, and "see things through" to completionMaintain organization of sensitive documents, digital files, passwords, and information with absolute discretionCoordinate personal scheduling, wellness appointments, and remindersTrack tasks, deadlines, and personal initiatives proactivelyHousehold Management
Oversee household systems, vendors, and second-home readinessEnsure homes are organized, stocked, and guest-ready before visitsCoordinate and manage maintenance, contractors, and service providersMaintain inventories, organizational systems, and household recordsLifestyle & Daily Support
Run errands : shopping, gifting, returns, and mailingsAssist with cooking and meal preparation (does not require chef-level skills), but the couple would like someone who truly enjoys cooking and is comfortable in the kitchenSupport holidays, events, and occasional entertaining (i.e., friends coming over to watch the football game, etc.)Care for and interact positively with the family's large, friendly dogAnticipate needs and proactively support the principal and householdTechnology & Digital Organization
