We are seeking a Neo4j Graph Developer to join our team. This role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing Neo4j graph database solutions for financial services applications, including money movement, trade monitoring, and AML / fraud surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in Neo4j, Python programming, real-time data processing, and graph analytics , and a passion for solving complex problems using advanced graph technologies.

Location : New York, NY (Hybrid Onsite Local Candidates Only)

Duration : 6 Months

Job Description :

As a Neo4j Graph Developer at Trilyon, Inc., you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance Neo4j graph database systems. You will work closely with data engineering, analytics, and application teams to ingest, model, and process large volumes of data for financial services use cases. The Neo4j Graph Developer will optimize database performance, implement advanced analytics, and support both batch and real-time data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Graph Database Development : Design, implement, and maintain Neo4j graph database structures and Cypher queries for AML, fraud, and surveillance systems.

Data Engineering : Perform batch data engineering using Apache Spark and Python to populate Neo4j and generate downstream data feeds for Data Science.

Real-Time Processing : Integrate with Kafka for near real-time processing of business events into Neo4j.

Performance Tuning : Optimize database performance and resilience through indexing, modeling, and infrastructure recommendations.

Advanced Analytics : Apply AI and ML techniques to solve complex graph problems and generate insights.

SDLC Participation : Engage in all phases of SDLC, including business requirement analysis, data modeling, development, testing, and deployment.

Database Querying : Query source databases using SQL Server and Impala for data extraction and transformation.

Collaboration : Work in Agile teams, coordinate with version control (GIT), and support CI / CD pipelines.

Automation & Scripting : Write Python and Bash scripts for automation and operational tasks.

Scheduling & Operations : Support job scheduling using Autosys or Control-M for batch processes.

Required Skills and Experience :

8+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years as Neo4j Architect / Senior Developer.

At least 3 years of experience in Money Movement, Trade Monitoring, AML, Fraud, or Surveillance within Wealth Management financial services.

Strong expertise in Neo4j Cypher queries, Graph Data Science, and data ingestion .

Proficiency in Python programming for data engineering and integration.

Experience with real-time stream processing and integration with Kafka.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile teams.

Desired Skills :

Experience with Cloudera Hadoop or large-scale data platforms.

Familiarity with Agile methodology and version control systems (GIT).

Hands-on experience with Bash scripting and Linux environments.

Familiarity with CI / CD systems and job scheduling tools like Autosys or Control-M.
