Client Support Specialist
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused client support specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer interactions and ensuring a seamless experience with our products and services. Your primary duties will include processing customer orders, handling inquiries, and providing non-technical problem resolutions. Responsibilities include entering, monitoring, and tracking customer purchase orders, processing debit and credit memos, maintaining order information filing systems, providing knowledgeable customer support for assigned products and services, responding to customer inquiries via telephone or email to offer non-technical problem resolution, resolving routine and basic problems, communicating solutions or requested information to customers, analyzing customer service needs and referring to other service or technical departments for follow-up as needed, utilizing a customer relationship application or database to record activities and research product information, gathering information and confirming sales prompted by incoming calls using a computerized system, promoting products / services without a sales quota, performing work that is routine or follows standard procedures, and communicating information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
Essential skills include customer service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, administrative support skills, customer support capabilities, experience with ERP systems, preferably QAD, and a basic understanding of computer systems and equipment. Additional qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1 year of relevant client service experience, experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), moderate understanding of general job aspects, familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook), and ability to operate all related equipment. Customer-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills, basic planning and problem-solving / analytical skills.
The position is based in an office setting within a new 150,000 square foot facility known as the 'Experience Center,' which showcases all products across business lines. This is a contract to hire position based out of Coppell, TX. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
