The Project Controls Analyst III is responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules to support effective planning, coordination, and execution of construction and engineering projects. This full- time onsite role ensures that all schedule data is accurate, aligned with project objectives, and communicated clearly to project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Establish and manage the Work Breakdown structure and activity coding to support reporting needs.
Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and subcontractors to gather schedule inputs.
Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Track progress, analyze variances, and forecast schedule outcomes.
Support monthly reporting, including schedule narratives and executive summaries.
Evaluate schedule impacts related to design changes, procurement delays, and field conditions.
Maintain schedule baselines and manage schedule change control processes.
Facilitate schedule review meetings with the project team and client representatives.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, contracts, and scheduling standards.
Support delay analysis and provide documentation for claims or time-extension requests.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
Equivalent experience may be considered instead of a degree.
Experience
5+ years of experience in project scheduling or project controls.
Direct experience supporting construction or engineering projects.
Experience developing and managing schedules for design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required for most roles).
Experience with MS Project.
Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
Ability to develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity coding.
Experience with schedule baselines, updates, and change management.
Ability to perform schedule delay analysis and what-if scenarios.
Strong Excel skills; ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets.
Familiarity with project management and PMIS software (Procore, E-Builder, PMWeb, Kahua, etc.) preferred.
Understanding of progress measurement, earned value, and schedule reporting.
Construction & Technical Knowledge
Understanding of construction sequencing and field operations.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Knowledge of procurement cycles and long-lead processes.
Familiarity with commissioning and turnover workflows is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to facilitate meetings and present schedule information clearly.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse project teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate schedule data.
Professional certifications (PSP, PMI-SP) are preferred but not required.

Referral Bonus
Stelic offers a referral bonus of $1,000 to any employee who successfully refers another employee to a position within the company. The bonus is disbursed after the recruit completes 90 days of employment.
Holidays
All regular full-time employees normally scheduled to work on these days may take the day off with pay.
Holidays occurring on Saturday are observed on the preceding Friday; holidays occurring on Sunday are observed on the following Monday. Floating holidays are paid days off that employees can schedule at their discretion.

Performance Reviews
