BMSS Advisors & CPAs is seeking proactive, detail-oriented students to participate in our 2026 Summer Experience Program.

Experience what it is like to work at BMSS through weekly rotations through our various services. Our ideal candidate is an accounting major in their sophomore year or an accounting major that is unable to participate in a traditional "Busy Season" internship (January - April). This opportunity is offered in all five of our office locations (Birmingham, Gadsden, Huntsville, Mobile, & Ridgeland).

BMSS was established in Birmingham in 1991 and has grown to become a top 100 advisory and CPA firm in the U.S. Our services include tax planning, compliance and assurance, merger and acquisition, advisory, wealth management, accounting services, payroll, and IT Support. BMSS strives to give "peace of mind" and believes in providing an exceptional experience to our clients and our employees.

What you will be doing :

This experience is a 3 day a week program intended to give you firsthand knowledge on what life at BMSS could look like through job shadowing and relationship building, and giving you the opportunity to experience our award-winning culture for yourself.
