Job description

Job Title : Java Developer

Job Location : Fort Worth, TX 76155

Hybrid role : 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Job Type : Contract, 6 Months contract

Pay Rate : $45 - $49 / Hour

Primary Skill :

Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE)

Minimum Qualifications- Education & 5-7yrs Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience / training
6 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments
2+ years Microservice framework / REST development

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience :

2+ years of Kubernetes Services with deep understanding of Container Orchestration and Distributed System Concepts

Skills, Licenses & Certifications :

Proficiency in Full Stack Development

Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies :

J2EE technologies : Java11+, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB

Cloud-based development : Kubernetes and Docker

Web Servers : Tomcat, Websphere

Web Services : REST / SOAP (JSON / WSDL / XML)

Frameworks : Spring Framework, Spring Boot

Build / deployment tools : Maven, Git, Junit, Mockito

Other Dev Ops Toolchain : GitHub and Azure DevOps Azure Data explorer, and Elastic Search

Other : Linux / Unix shell Scripting, IBM MQ / Rabbit MQ, Redis Cache

Experience with TDD and BDD development pattern

Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles

Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM

Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
