Appointment Clerk
This position provides high level member assistance by scheduling various appointments requested, transferring calls appropriately, composing messages, and providing general information.
Essential responsibilities include upholding Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures, operating in a high volume call center environment, determining the type of appointment requested, prioritizing member needs, utilizing superior customer service skills, determining if calls are urgent or emergent, composing messages, responding to general questions, identifying ways to improve service quality, performing clerical duties, and maintaining activity logs.
Basic qualifications include one year of customer service experience in a service-related industry, preferably healthcare, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include effective telephone communication skills, passing scores on specific assessments, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
