Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Chemical Patrol in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the site. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a secure environment for everyone on site. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the chemical and petrochemical environment, reporting any findings according to site procedures.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and / or monitoring entry points as required.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
