Job descriptionA minimum of 3 years of title examination experience using the Title Data system is required. Strong understanding of legal documents, including court cases that impact real estate titles. Ability to work independently with high reliability and attention to detail. Position Type : Full Time (Temp-to-Hire) Salary : $50k-$70k Scheduled Shift : Mon-Fri 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm; flexible schedule Jobsite : Houston, TX 77081
Overview
Title Examiner job at Employment & Training Centers, Inc., Houston, TX. We\'re assisting our local employer seeking skilled Title Examiners to join our PRC (Property Research and Compliance) department. This team plays a crucial role in reviewing real estate title documents to generate clear and accurate title reports, as well as identifying the individuals or entities that should be served in efforts to collect delinquent property taxes.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and analyze title examination materials.
- Review and interpret document information.
- Create detailed run sheets—comprehensive indexes or abstracts of all recorded documents affecting a property\'s title within a specified period.
- Provide detailed information regarding property ownership, recorded liens, and legal descriptions for properties associated with delinquent tax accounts.
